Paul Zukerberg
Paul Zukerberg is a distinguished personal injury attorney with over 30 years of experience in both state and federal courts. He has won a wide range of civil and criminal cases. Plus he has taken over 100 cases to verdict. These include major personal injury, contracts, civil rights, and criminal cases. His appellate work includes reported decisions on behalf of workers denied fair pay, first amendment law, and federal statutory interpretation.
Recently, Paul successfully sued the D.C. Council to preserve D.C. voters’ right to elect their own attorney general. As a result, a unanimous Court of Appeals agreed with Paul that the D.C. Council and Mayor had acted illegally in cancelling the 2014 election. Paul has extensive experience litigating in D.C. Superior Court, where he uses his talents to help those most in need. Therefore, he frequently represents clients pro bono or at reduced rates.
Paul graduated from from Hamilton College in 1979. After that, he received his law degree from American University’s Washington College of Law in 1984. While at American University, Paul served in the Criminal Justice Clinic. In 1984, Mr. Zukerberg received an award for the best brief in the annual moot court competition. Which started him on a life-long interest in appeals.
It is important to note that Paul is a member of the Maryland, Virginia and DC Bars. So he practices in all metro DC state and federal courts. Finally, he is a long-time member of the United States Supreme Court.
Moreover, Paul is a proud member of National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, the NORML National Legal Committee. For many years, Paul has proudly served the Viriginia Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, the Maryland Association for Justice, and the D.C. Association of Trial Lawyers.
Paul lives in Adams Morgan with his wife, Dr. Ilana Zukerberg, and their two super kids.
